Daisy Mountain Veterans

Daisy Mountain VeteransDaisy Mountain Veterans is an alliance of the members of American Legion Post 128, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 12031, and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 128 – representatives of our nation’s largest organizations of veterans.

These organizations have long histories and extensive traditions of serving our communities, promoting Americanism, family values, youth programs, freedom, liberty, and much more. Members of the northern valley veteran organizations are highly motivated to celebrate properly the achievements and sacrifices of members of our Armed Forces with whom they, as veterans, share common experiences.

Daisy Mountain Veterans dedicate time and resources to support the families of our troops fighting the terrorists. They fight to defend our democracy, principles, freedoms, values, and lifestyle. Daisy Mountain Veterans manage benefits for family assistance, Pancake Breakfast, Sidewalk Sale, and more.

Daisy Mountain Veterans work with members of our community who unite for a common purpose – to show appreciation to all those individuals who fought and sacrificed to defend our Constitution and independence, especially our unalienable rights…to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

Daisy Mountain Veterans encourage everyone to pursue happiness and to have fun – Veterans Day Parade and Family Picnic, Friday Night Bingo, Boy’s and Girl’s State, Sports Teams, Veteran’s Day Raffle, Contributing Partners to Community Groups, and much more.

Members of the Daisy Mountain Veterans have also volunteered to speak about their military experiences at school assemblies or in smaller classroom environments.

New members and always welcome. Fellowship is encouraged. VFW meetings are held at 6 pm and the American Legion at 6:30 beginning in February 2011. Meeting are held the second Thursday of each month at the Outlets at Anthem, suite 545.
