A Parade for the Ages!
This year’s Daisy Mountain Veterans Parade has been approved as an Official Arizona Centennial Event, the only parade in the state granted such designation. Together with the dedication of the magnificent new Anthem Veterans Memorial to be held on Friday, November 11, our Saturday, November 12, parade promises to deliver a true “Veterans Weekend” for the citizens of Anthem and the surrounding communities. This will be a wonderful patriotic event that is fast becoming a local tradition. You and your family will not want to miss it!
All Are Welcome to Participate
The theme for the parade this year will be “Arizona History” in recognition of our state’s Centennial celebration. Marching groups and float entrants are encouraged to demonstrate some particular example of Arizona’s rich historical past. Our parade has grown in size every year since its inception in 2005. Last year nearly 100 military, civic and historic units took part, and we expect that number to increase this year.
