Daisy Mountain Veterans
Daisy Mountain Veterans All Are Welcome to Participate
Our nation is again reminded of the tremendous sacrifices endured to ensure American's freedom. Veterans have bravely and proudly carried the burden of defending this country by their honorable service during war and peacetime. And for that, there are no words to express our gratitude. Daisy Mountain Veterans Parade Committee has chosen Korean War Veterans (June 1950 to July 1955) as our Grand Marshals for the 2013 parade. As in the past, the parade will be a wonderful patriotic event that has become a local tradition. You and your family will not want to miss it! Our parade has grown in size every year since its inception in 2005. Last year nearly 100 military, civic, and historic units took part, and we expect that number to increase this November.

We Need You
The Parade is a great opportunity for a Sponsor's business to be showcased, families or individuals to express their gratitude to Veterans and a Participant's entry to be viewed and appreciated. To have a successful event, it definitely takes all three! Every donation, large or small, is equally important. Plus, you will be supporting our Community and saying "Thank You" to our Veterans. Last year, we had a great turnout and we are expecting the attendance for our 9th Annual Parade to be even more! Please join the many individuals and businesses that proudly display the Daisy Mountain Veterans Parade Certificate of Participation. Our post is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization comprised of American Legion Post 128, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 12031 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 128. . We are uncompensated volunteers, and all donations received are used to defray the expenses of the parade. Excess contributions, if any, are always returned to our own community in the form of assistance for Veterans and their families.
