Would you like to be a vendor for this year’s Veterans Parade & Family Picnic on Saturday, November 12, 2011 10 AM? Quality vendors are a key ingredient for a successful event.   Below are the guidelines for the 2011 Food Court, Beer Garden and activities Vendors.

  • LOCATION: Vendors will be assigned space on the softball fields in the athletic complex in Anthem. Please note all food vendors will be located inside the fenced area defining the Food Court and Beer Garden.
  • TIMING: You may set up Friday afternoon if you wish. There will be security Friday night. It is necessary for vendors to be in place by 9:00 AM as the streets will be closed for the parade. The parade will begin promptly at 10:00 AM and should be over between 11:30 AM and NOON. Please be ready to serve by 11:30 AM. The event is officially over at 3:00 PM. Tear down is immediately after the event.
  • HEALTH DEPARTMENT: An inspector seems to show up at all events in the park when food booths are present. Please be sure your permits are current and your location will comply with state and local requirements
  • SERVICES: Electricity will be available on a limited basis. If you need electricity please let us know right away. Potable water is available only from hose bibs located at the public restrooms just north of the picnic area. Bagged ice will be available for purchase at the beer garden. Trash containers will be placed generously throughout the picnic area. If you require extras, please see the folks at the beer garden.
  • PARKING: Vendor’s vehicles may NOT come and go from the Food Court and Beer Garden. They must be parked off the grass behind your booth or in a parking lot throughout the event. Obvious exceptions are businesses that are located in vehicles (examples: frozen treat truck).
  • BEVERAGES FOR SALE: Vendors may bring their own beverages for sale.
  • REGISTRATION FORMS: Must be returned on or before September 1, 2011.

  • Follow all Federal, Arizona and Maricopa County Health regulations.
  • Have read and agree to changes in our Veterans’ Celebration for 2011, listed above.
  • Provide proof of insurance and Event Permit.
  • Vendors must be in place by 9:30AM – Parade starts at 10:00AM.  Tear down at 3:00PM.
  • Tables and seating will be provided for the public.
  • Vendor tents, tables and chairs will not be furnished.
  • Please supply a basic menu and prices with your registration form.

In consideration of acceptance of this registration to participate in the Daisy Mountain Veterans’ Day Parade and Picnic, I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound, for myself, heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against the Daisy Mountain Veterans’ Committee, American Legion Post 128 and its members, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 12031 and its members, Anthem, Maricopa County or any respective agents, volunteers and employees connected with this event.
