Flag Retirement
In May, Britton Usher, an Eagle Scout from Anthem, conducted a flag retirement ceremony. The remains were buried at the Daisy Mountain Fire Department Station 141. Over 400 flags were retired.

Adopt-a-Highway
In cooperation with the Maricopa County Department of Transportation, Post 12031 has clean-up responsibilities for one mile of I-17 east frontage road in New River. Pick-up is done four times a year.

Veterans Day Parade
The Veterans Day Parade is organized each year by the Daisy Mountain Vets and their sponsors.
